Tigers Grading Form

  • Important Information

    TIGERS BELT TEST:

    The Tigers Belt test is aimed at younger club members. It recognises that younger children can find it difficult to grasp some skills all at once.

    Therefore, the syllabus for the first three belts, from our mainstream programme, is broken down into small ‘bite sized’ chunks, making it easier for younger children to grasp.

    All Students wishing to grade must:

    1] Have completed New Wave Insurance/ Membership form online.

    2] Must have all three New Wave Badges on their Uniform.

    New Students who have not purchased Badges or completed Insurance forms will not be allowed to grade.

    Students are required to wear their FULL Taekwondo uniform in order to grade. T-shirts cannot be worn.

    Uniforms should be clean and ironed

    Lastly, the information on this form is used to produce a grading certificate when testing for Yellow Belt & Orange Belt. If the info is incorrect a replacement certificate will cost £5.

  • Grading Date

    Grading Date: THURSDAY 30TH OCTOBER.

    Venue: Buchan Hall, Buchan Road, Nunhead, SE15 3HQ

    Time: ARRIVE 9:30 AM FOR 10:00 AM START.

    BOOKING DATE: FRIDAY 24TH OCTOBER.

    FEE: Apart from the Yellow Belt and Orange Belt tests, all Tiger Belt tests Cost £20. Upon passing one of these tests, students receive a belt but no certificate.

    The Yellow Belt and Orange Blet tests are full price. Upon passing either of these tests students receive a belt and a certificate.

  • (NWAC) New Wave AC Acknowledgement

    I understand that this event is run under New Wave rules. I accept that I cannot hold any representative of NWAC responsible for any loss of personal items or for any injuries that may be sustained during the grading.

    I also accept, in full, the decision of the grading officials at this event.

    Publicity Release- NWAC, take photographs and video footage of students on a regular basis. This material is used to promote/advertise the club on various media platforms including: newsletters, web pages, social media pages (Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok) and other promotional material and products. 

    I understand that by signing this form I GRANT NWAC permission to use, reproduce, and distribute photographs and videos of myself and/or my child(ren) in material that may be used for promotion or otherwise of NWAC.  It is clearly understood that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me now or in the future by reason of such use.

    If student is under 18, this form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
