Some Fresh Air- Park Pandemic Sessions!
Adapting to the challenges posed by the pandemic, New Wave Academy embraced a unique and invigorating approach to Taekwondo training – taking it to the heart of nature with outdoor sessions in the park. In the midst of social distancing measures, the expansive greenery provided an ideal setting for our practitioners to continue their training while prioritising health and safety.
Under the open sky, amidst the rustling leaves and fresh air, our dedicated Taekwondo enthusiasts gathered to hone their skills, guided by our experienced Masters Alex and Cliff. The park sessions not only offered a dynamic change of scenery but also reinforced the resilience and adaptability of the New Wave community in the face of unprecedented challenges.
Participants engaged in a diverse range of activities, from basic kicks to boxing and beginning their Hapkido journey, all while maintaining a safe distance from one another. The park setting allowed for a holistic training experience, combining the physical rigors of Taekwondo with the serenity and rejuvenation that nature provides.
These outdoor sessions not only served as a means of staying physically active during a time of restricted indoor activities but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie among the students. The supportive environment of the park created a unique blend of focused training and shared encouragement, echoing the core values of discipline and teamwork instilled by New Wave Academy.
As we navigated the challenges of the pandemic, the park became more than just a training ground – it became a symbol of resilience, adaptability, and the unyielding spirit of our Taekwondo community. Together, under the expansive canopy of trees and amidst the challenges of the times, our students continued to grow and thrive, showcasing the enduring strength of the New Wave family.
